#Blrlitfest 2017 is here

The Bangalore Literature Festival has arrived early this year. As we gear up for some scintillating conversations and intellectual gossips, I am all nostalgic about #Blrlitfest2016. The festival last year covered a diverse range of topics including history, politics, geography, biography, popular fiction, erotica, food, travel, evangelism, human rights and a lot more. You might want to read our report on the Festival here. I also remember how thrilled we were when the kind Mr Piyush Mishra agreed to our request for an interview. The experience of interviewing him was a reminder on how to stay grounded even when you achieve greater heights of stardom.

One of the best things about the Bangalore Literature Festival is that it doesn’t stop with reading and writing. The festival goes on to discuss a plethora of topics concerning the society at large and brings to them various lessons from literature across the globe. This aspect of the festival is also the very spirit of Bookstalkist and we are glad to be associated with them as Blogging partners for this year. From peacock tears to Aadhar, and from Gauri Lankesh to AK Ramanujam this year too has a promising list of subjects waiting to be discussed. And there this is the additional bonanza of Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble.

With only few hours to go and a weather forecast that promises a sunny day, we hope all roads in Bangalore would lead to Hotel Lalit Ashok for the next two days. But if destiny defies you, worry not. Bookstalkists are here for you. We promise to bring to you the best of the happenings at #blrlitfest2017. Keep watching this space for more and keep reading.
